The Montreal embassy didn’t have any appointments available from 07/06/23 to 08/07/23. When they opened up a few dates, I got extremely lucky and was able to book an interview for the following week. 2024-06-01

The hardest part was waiting for my fiance to be called back for the interview itself, which lasted 5 minutes or so before he was approved. POE in Buffalo was also fantastic. He had been denied at the same border crossing a year earlier, so we were a little nervous, but the CBP officers couldn't have been nicer or more congratulatory. They asked if he had previously been refused entry. He answered yes, "for insufficient ties to Canada". Then they simply added a note and said, "he has a K1 so it doesn't matter" and that was that, we were on our way home! 2024-06-02
