We were approved the same day of the interview, but couldn't pick it up for three weeks. The transit visa took an additional week since the cheapest flight he found was through Germany. So really, it took a month and 2 days for him to arrive after visa approval - we were hoping it would take just 3 days!	2010-01-02

Fiancee spent 5-10 mins with immigration folks. They opened packet asked no question and sent her on her way to her connecting flight to Chicago. I had to call them when I realized it had been over 30 days since I had received the notice of approval. Once I called, they could not explain to me why I had not gotten the notice and I asked for them to send me one. They then informed me they had sent our packet to the embassy on Jan. 15! They gave me our case # and said I should call the embassy in Ghana for further inquiries.	2016-07-11
