After much begging and pleading they said I should send Inusah to the embassy with a copy of the e-mail saying they had mailed him packet 3 so that he can pick it up. 10/17/07 - told to come back tomorrow 10/18/07 - Packets 3 & 4!!!! 10/19/07 - Packet 3 finally received in the mail...goodness. 12/27/07 - Medical @ Holy Trinity and Medlabs 12/28/07 - Apply for police certificate 01/09/08 - Police certificate and medicals results in hand 02/12/08 - Vaccinations @ Akai House 03/17/08 - Interview...told to bring letters to a 2nd appointment in June. 06/02/08 - 2nd appointment (praying we get the visa stamp)...good thing we are not getting married until August. 06/02/08 - VISA APPROVED!!!! 06/06/08 - VISA IN HAND!!! 08/07/08 - POE JFK...it was a breeze, got EAD stamp 08/14/08 - Legally married!!!! 2012-06-25

He stated the line was very long. The security guard at the Embassy of Ghana started letting people in around 7:30am. They called KO to the window @ 9:30am asking for his information and the money for the visa. Around 10:30am he was called for his interview by a male officer, which was very nice to him. The officer asks KO four questions, was I married before, do I have any kids, and their name and age, my address in the states, work history, and name of my employer.. The officer didn’t ask for any photos, they only wanted to see my phone bill. VISA APPROVED. 2011-05-31
