The Montreal embassy didn’t have any appointments available from 07/06/23 to 08/07/23. During the interview they said that they intend to process it, but they must do some checks from their side. It took around a week and I received my K1-visa. P.S. If you receive email that the passport was given to courier services and you have chosen pick it up yourself then be sure to go there next day.
