I had my visa appointment date rescheduled to Monday March 1st, 2021 @ 7:00 amÂ due to the pandemic. CO: who petitioned for you? Ans.: Mentioned my wifeâ€™s name CO.: Where does she live in the states ? Ans.: Mentioned the state CO.: How did you meet your wife ? Ans.: Mentioned the dating site CO.: When did she visit Ghana, how long did she stayed and did you married on her first visit? Ans.: she visited Feb. 10, 2018/ 1 Month/ Yes CO.: When did you get married ? Ans.: mentioned our married date CO.: Have any of us been married ? Ans.: Mentioned CO.: when did she divorced ? Ans.: mentioned the month and year CO: What work does she do ? Ans.: Mentioned CO.: How old is she ? Ans.: Mentioned wifeâ€™s age ( asked me the question below cus he felt her age is kind of old to have children) CO.: Do you guys wants to have children ? Ans.: Yes cus we are living in a technology world and everything is possible CO.: Do you have pics together ? Ans.: Gave the CO our marriage album which contains not only our marriage pics but everywhere we went during her period of time stayed with me in GHANA CO.: Requested for account statements of my wife Ans.: I presented it to the CO CO: Picked out a small white paper and said the magic word youâ€™re approved, sign up with DHL to pick up your visa and he further on said donâ€™t make any traveling arrangements till you get your passport and visa. I sigh with excitement and said thank you. NB: All these questions was done within 3-4minutes and just be straight forward with your answers, Look at the COâ€™s face as in eye to eye communication. Have confidence cus they are there for you to prove to them everything you did submitted prior to the interview is correct . Based on some miscommunication with DHL I got my visa I think either March 22 or 23 and I left Ghana March 26th DONâ€™T OVER DRESS TO THE EMBASSY OFFICE, AS PEOPLE DO ALL PRAISES TO GOD ðŸ™ðŸ¿ðŸ™ðŸ¿ðŸ™ðŸ¿ðŸ™ðŸ¿ðŸ™ðŸ¿ BELIEVE AND TRUST IN GOD	2021-09-09

I thought we were pretty well prepared but I guess not. The Co asked for the original marriage cert ( he did show the certified copy) as the original is with me. She said she needed the original. She also asked for our marriage photos, again which are with me. After work I did send the original marriage cert and wedding photos, he should receive them DHL by 10-21. Once he receives them he was told to submit those documents and passport to DHL. I will update once we hear something. I guess we are back to the waiting game. UPDATE Finally 9 months ( 8 months) after the first interview he was approved! In February while in admin processing, we received a request for a second interview. This time they asked me to be present. I could either attend via phone or go in person. I of course choose in person. We were interviewed by 2 Ghanaians that were "tasked" to gain additional information. They were not counselors but employees. Basically, we were told the counselor was not convinced of our marriage. I'm glad I went in person! After the interview, we were back to the waiting game. We did not hear anything until the end of May, when they finally asked for his passport and because medical exams are only good for 6 months he was asked to do another. Finally June 7th his visa was issued! He is now on a flight to America.	2022-06-21
