They asked him several questions, a lot of them were surprisingly about the petitioner's job. Like really specific questions about her job. They didn't ask for any additional evidence, they took only the basic required documents from him. The interview went well all the way until the end when the consular officer gave him the packet with his immigrant rights and the 221g requesting additional information. The consular officer told him he needed to answer the questions from the paper she gave him via email and that they will get back to him with a decision a couple of weeks later = AP, administrative processing aka worst nightmare. They also gave him his passport back and original birth certificate. We emailed the embassy with our answers in the afternoon on 6/24, a few hours after the interview, no confirmation or reply. 06/25/21 - Petitioner emailed USEM Warsaw again to ask for a status update on our AP. USEM Warsaw initially replied back confirming they received our additional information email and that they will forward that info to the DOS for a background check. One hour later USEM Warsaw emailed us again and said that they reviewed our case file again and there is no need for an additional background check and asked the beneficiary to present himself at the embassy in the morning of 06/28 so they can issue his visa and stamp in his passport. 06/28/21 - Beneficiary went back to the embassy with his passport. They didn't ask him anything, just took his passport and told him to present himself at the embassy the next day to pick up his passport/visa. 06/29/21 - Beneficiary picked up his passport with his visa! 2023-01-19

It has been there for 10 months now. We filed a WOM(Writ of Mandamus) lawsuit. We paid $4000 to the John Ting Law Group. The process took about 3 weeks and the visa was approved! 2023-10-04
Antalia A & N Russia California No Israel 2022-06-28 2022-07-06 2023-07-11 2023-09-26 2024-04-16 2024-04-30 658* 8 370 280 Having learned that we have been assigned Poland as our consulate, and having no legal way, as a Russian citizen, to enter Poland without circumventing Schengen laws, we spent some time begging select consulates around the globe to take our case. Only Israel agreed, with no hard deadlines as their war just entered an active phase. We waited for the docs to reach Warsaw, then we requested transfer, then we were able to book the soonest appointment slot, which was in about four months. The Administrative Review was required because a copy of his military book was requested, even though he did not serve. To be fair, all Russian males of age have the book, and the Moscow embassy, when it was in service, seemed to always request a copy. Then, after a week of processing and a week of local holidays, we learned that we got it. 1 year 10 months from the date we filed, we can now plan our wedding, having the visa at hand. 2024-04-30
