Email received that Visa/ passport ready for pickup on Monday, April 17th. Visa pickup only took 15 minutes. Very well organized and fast. In the email, there is a DHL link provided to schedule an appointment for pickup. The email states an appointment letter is required for pickup. We continuously received 'Record not found', thus not being able to move forward with scheduling. The email states to contact US Travel Docs Visa representatives, which was a waste of time, and added frustration. I called DHL and was informed that Immigrant Visas do not require an appointment. You can just go to the specified Victoria Island location for pickup at Sandilad Arcade, 230 Muri Okunola St, Victoria Island 106104, Lagos, Nigeria (this one is designated for immigrant visas) Update POE: Atlanta, less than 10 minutes. | 2023-06-13 |

Here is our timeline… PD February 9 2022 AR March 7 2022 Long pause RFE Nov. 28-correction submitted same day 2nd AR Nov. 29 Approval notice Nov. 29 Notice from NVC Dec. 5 Submitted all documents to NVC Dec. 31 NVC Approval notice Jan. 25 Interview letter received April 4 9:30 am Interview scheduled for May 23 I tracked all of the recent interview letter dates and scheduled interviews in Madrid and I concluded that 1. There are approximately 15 IR1/CR1 interviews scheduled every month for the last year 2. Interview letters are sent out in the first week of the month with dates for the following month. All recent IR1/CR1 interviews have been scheduled for a Tuesday. 3. I waited 2 months after NVC approval for the notice and it will be 3 months minus 2 days after the NVC notice when we have our interview. I looked at all of the information I had from people here and on VisaJourney and calculated that we would have our interview on 5/23 and I really can’t believe I was right! | 2023-04-05 |
