After much begging and pleading they said I should send Inusah to the embassy with a copy of the e-mail saying they had mailed him packet 3 so that he can pick it up. 10/17/07 - told to come back tomorrow 10/18/07 - Packets 3 & 4!!!! 10/19/07 - Packet 3 finally received in the mail...goodness. 12/27/07 - Medical @ Holy Trinity and Medlabs 12/28/07 - Apply for police certificate 01/09/08 - Police certificate and medicals results in hand 02/12/08 - Vaccinations @ Akai House 03/17/08 - Interview...told to bring letters to a 2nd appointment in June. 06/02/08 - 2nd appointment (praying we get the visa stamp)...good thing we are not getting married until August. 06/02/08 - VISA APPROVED!!!! 06/06/08 - VISA IN HAND!!! 08/07/08 - POE JFK...it was a breeze, got EAD stamp 08/14/08 - Legally married!!!!	2012-06-25

He went the the embassy at 7am for his 7:30 appointment time. He was not called in until 10am. He was told to by a Ghanaian woman to give her the documents (affidavit of support, income tax return, etc). Also, he gave her the proof of relationship (photos and emails). He had an entire album, but he was told to only take out those of him and I together. After handing it over, he was told to sit and wait until he is called. About 30 mins later, he was called in. He was interviewed by an American man. He said the interview was quite casually and the man was very friendly. Some of the questions were: Where/How did we meet? Where does your fiancee work? What does she do? Do you have children? Does she have children? Have you been married before? How did you like Massachusetts (my fiance visited me in 2003)? What are your future plans? Do you work? When all the questioning was through, he was told that his fist name and "middle" name was interchanged on the documents. My fiance will need to get a new passport by the 21st in order to recieve the visa. Before he left, he was given an approval form and our photos.	2007-07-28
