Ronnie12345 V & J United Kingdom California No London, United Kingdom 2018-11-11 2019-04-11 2019-05-28 2019-06-14 2019-07-24 2019-08-28 2019-09-07 2019-10-11 255* N/A N/A 104 Administrative Review on the 24th due to not having a original birth certificate (our immigration attorney said that this will not be an issue provided that we have a statutory declaration) . Birth certificate from a foreign country and was sent to Embassy on the 05th of August, tracking says they've received it, but they've lost it and we didn't know this until the fiancé called the US department of State on the 15th of August and asked why it's taking so long and was told that they still don't have the birth certificate. Complaints were made by two MPs in the UK, a US senator to the US ambassador in the UK and the US department of State. Vague responses from the embassy to all emails and letters. 16th of August sent another certified copy of the birth certificate. 20th of August: Visa status changed from immigrant to non-immigrant administrative processing. 28th of August: Visa issued Will collect passport from DX group either the 30th of August or 2nd of September. Had to postpone our wedding and lost so much money as a result of this! I know they say you shouldn't book any events until a visa is received but it is near impossible to plan a wedding in 90 days! 2023-04-05

The IO was really nice. Just had a few questions asked regarding the material we sent, where she worked, her family and lastly my family. Not long after that, she gave me a page about my rights pretty much, wished me the best and told me that my passport would be at the chosen DHL office within a week. 2017-01-19
