Not in my situation. I'm writing this to let everyone be mentally prepared for the horror you could endure in your interview. First and foremost I know and understand these agents job is to distinguish real love from fraud, and they may have to ask some tough questions like you know he has 3 kids right? You know he may be using you to raise his children? But when it gets dark and the lady starts mentally abusing my fiance by saying stuff like, he is going to drop you just like he did his ex wife and your beautiful why are you throwing your life away, and oh your mother is really ok with this age difference? There was definitely a line that was crossed. Not to mention you read that interviews take 15 minutes to 20, try a one hour interview. In both cases it moved forward to the next step within 3-5 days of contacting the Congressman's office. Set Interview for 5/21, I was told I could attend but when we showed the Entrance Guards our documents they did not let me in. As with all things regarding Government Ineptitude and Incompetence the easiest reason to cite is COVID. The actual interview was quick and there were only a few questions asked to my fiancee such as where we met, how long we'd been together, how she likes my family, where we're planning on living, standard questions. She was out 25 Minutes later with an approval. | 2021-05-23 |
