Vermont | No | Moscow, Russia | 2009-04-08 | 2009-04-14 | 2009-08-19 | 2009-08-26 | 2009-11-30 | 236 | 6 | 127 | 103 | I have known my fiancee, Larisa Cherednikova from Volzhsky, Russia, for three years now (or I thought I knew her). After two and one half years of different gut-wrenching waiting, many obstacles, applications, three visits, one past approved K-1 visa with her arrival here for almost three months, etc. my fiancee declined to interview for her K-1 visa on November 30. She decided to remain in Russia to help "provide care" for her family. While her reasons seem to be admirable and honorable on the surface, she knew these "care" issues existed before she agreed to marry me. However, her final decision came to me September 29, 2009... only after I told her that we could not financially support her entire family and maintain a good lifestyle in the U.S. Consequently, it is obvious to me that the bottom line for her was MY MONEY--nothing more. This is terribly disturbing for me. So, everyone out there, BEWARE!! | 2009-11-23 | ||||||||||
