We used rapid visa for our process. We got a hotel in walking distance of embassy and authorized medical center. We also met once with a rapid visa agent for interview coaching. My wife took my passport in for the interview showing that a I was there. She also took two photo albums in with her as well as our chat history and other relationship evidence.
