Also had to call re: Package 3. Upon confirmation that the Consulate in Brazil received the documentation from the NVC we sent package 3 before it was mailed. I also e-mailed them regarding the receipt of Package 3 & the Interview date. It was a goodthing that I did because it was extremely difficult & expensive to get a flight to Brazil at this time. Had I waited for the notification to be mailed I would not have been able to make the necessary arrangements to attend the interview. Hint: Be proactive (& polite). Follow-up, preferably by e-mail or phone (waiting time could be up to 50 minutes).	2007-08-23
