Uscis sent all info to nvc but nvc sent everything immediately to the country's embassy. We brought everything required at nvc stage to our interview. They asked many questions to me and my husband, but we got approval! | 2023-02-19

I am just happy to be over with this entire process and finally get the chance to live in family with the man of my dreams. Interview Review:My husbands interview was August 28th at 9am in Santo Domingo. I did not go to the interview with him because of work and my son starts Kindergarten. I am not traveling over there and waiting to see the outcome of his interview, not that I wasn’t confident enough but I can’t afford the risk. You never truly know what can happen and it’s not mandatory for the spouse to go anyways. He’s an early bird so he was there at 6am. A lot of people were there but it moved quickly. When he was called up to the window he was asked for all original civil documents then to wait some more. He got called again for the interview. The officer asked him the following questions: Where is your spouse? How long have you been together? When did you get married? Do you have any kids? Does she have any kids? Do you have photos? He showed him the photos, he looked at about 5 or 6 of them and typed something in the computer and states you are approved. Gave him a big white paper that states to pick up passport in 2 weeks!!! He got there at 6 am and he texted me Around 10:30am that he got approved !!! I thought he would’ve in there for much longer but I am soooo happy!!! I will wait until he has his passport to schedule my flight so we can say our goodbyes and fly back home together !! | 2023-05-25

Having a hard time booking an interview date/vac appointment. Called/emailed support & embassy, said to keep trying. When booking your interview (what they don't tell you is) when you log on to http://ustraveldocs.com/do ON THE LEFT YOU SHOULD SEE *FIRST AVAILABLE APPOINTMENT IS (DATE). That means appointments are available and ONLY THEN, you can book VAC and Interview date. If that doesn't pop up... you will THINK you can book the VAC appointments, which will pop up but you will get a message saying the appointment isn't available. If there was a warning about it on the site, I believe people wouldn't be so anxious. | 2019-10-25 |
