Ge and Mayyong Mayyong Kue & Ge Vang Laos California No Laos 2012-02-03 2012-02-07 2012-06-27 2012-07-16 2012-07-19 2012-07-25 2012-08-02 2012-09-05 2012-10-11 2012-11-09 2012-11-20 2012-12-15 251* 4 141 106 PA10/11/2012 interview was a 221(g) for employment letter even though past 3 years of transcript showed 60-70k. Well known for playing their denial scheme. Will have to see what else they have in their bag of tricks, further frustration will have me asking NVC or DOS do an investigation. 10/29/2012 Fiancee brough in paystubs from 6 months and Offer letter from work. After an hour they gave her the approval. Told her to come back Thursday to pick up her Visa. However my son will need to have a Laos Passport to leave the country, so we will have to get his passport. Consulate said for us to bring in his passport asap when we get it so they can stamp the visa. One hurdle down many more to come. 11/20/2012 POE was at Minneapolis/St. Paul. It was kind of a hassle because my son was issued a B2 tourists visa on his Laos Passport because they don't accept nor acknowledge dual citizenship. They questioned that reasoning which was the US Embassy in Laos that issued it get my son approved for travel. All was resolved after my Fiance showed them his CBRA and US Passport. Took 2 hours till they cleared customs. Other than that everything else was good. 2016-11-07

You should pretty much already have done packet 3 already for your beneficiary & sent it to them (takes around a week for mail to go from the US to Laos) & all they needa do is pretty much go do their medical & then take the checklist of packet 3 to the laos consulate and get a interview date. I told my fiance to go a week after I got an email from the consulate that my fiance can go pick up packet 3, & pretty much got her a long wait for her interview (she was scheduled 2 months later)...so if you got all your paperwork straight, you should tell your beneficiary to go asap 2 get a interview date asap...I coulda been done maybe a month or so earlier if she had went a week early & got a earlier interview date. good luck every1 who finds <3 n da ole country 2012-12-31

Everything went well. He said exams cost about $400 but you need money for bus to thailand and back plus food. If they find something you may have to buy medicine and that's extra. ---------------------------------------- - Fiance Interview: He had a Hmong interpreter. There were two CO there that day, a female and a male. He said the male CO is friendly and only asked like 4 questions then either approves or request for more stuff or denies. the female CO (the one he had) isn't as friendly and asks a lot of questions. He was asked 14 questions and was able to answer 13 of them. The CO also kept asking him if we were introduced to each other, implying that we weren't legit. We weren't denied or approved but got a 221(g), requesting for more information. After which we would be given a decision. He also said there were two other K1 there that day and they didn't get approved right away either. One needed police certificate and the other had to have her petitioner rewrite a more detail explanation to how they met. - Quesitons from Interview: Where I work When we meet Where meet With whom when met What do I do in America What do I do on my free time Who I live with When did we get engaged Are our parents related (my mom and him has the same last name) Who introduced us Does he have relatives in America and their addresses What school did I go to (he didn't know this one) Where do I work Was I taken to his house to see his house and family --------------------------------------- - My Interview: On Monday October 10, 2010; the CO (and translator who did the talking) in Laos called me on my cell phone and did a over the phone interview with me. it was at night about 9:30pm. They very briefly interview me and then starte the interview. They asked me: When did i go to laos How we met Who i was with when we met Have i been to his house Who approached who when we first met What did we talk about when we first met and what did we do that first day When did we get engaged What did we do after our engagement (days following engagement) When did i go home after engagement Did my mom and his parents meet Are we related (because my mom and my fiance have same last name). after the questions they said thank you and bye. it was basically the translator talking/asking in hmong. ----------------------------------- the embassy in Laos called and interviewed me three times, they also interviewed my mom and my fiance's uncle. i don't know how they got his uncles phone number but it must be in their system or the interpreter knew it. they pretty were questioning whether our relationship was real. they called him to the embassy on friday with his passport then they ask him how many relatives he had in america again. after all that we were approved. we were approved on friday and he picked up the visa on tuesday the following week. he said that there were 5 guys (including him) that came back for on that friday. 4 were approved and 1 was denied. 2019-11-13
