I got to my appointment about 10 minutes early- went through security and then waited to be seen. Met with B first where we went through everything I had mailed in- I was organised so she had everything she needed- she just needed my passport. She walked me through the yellow envelope and not to travel until status adjusted. Then I went to another window- paid the fee and was waiting for my interview. During the interview with the consul officer he asked basics questions about myself, our relationship and my fiances family- nothing scary or crazy. This probably only took about 5 or 6 minutes and then we were done awaiting medical info. All in all took me about an hour from when i got there. | 2020-03-22 | ||

However, the following day the embassy called me to inform me that they didn't have my passport... So, when I went to the first window where I gave all the requested documents, the lady gave me back my passport. Then, I was called to another window where the man asked me a few simple questions but never asked for my passport. I was back to Paris a few days later so I gave them the passport (2018-04-10) but they waited until the newt K1 interview (04/18) to do my passport, so I received it only on April 25th, even if I paid for the fast delivery option. I'm really disappointed on that side. | 2019-09-20 |
