Harold_B Gracy & Harold Honduras California No Honduras 2017-07-07 2017-07-13 2018-01-18 2018-01-31 2018-02-20 2018-02-22 2018-03-01 2018-03-01 2018-03-01 2018-03-21 2018-04-16 2018-04-19 2018-05-01 257* 6 189 62 7/11/2017: Recieved our NOA1..yayy! Currently trying to gather information on documents needed for the Interview, How much these documents cost, and whether they have an expiration date to them therefore we can order them furthur down the line of our process. link: http://photos.state.gov/libraries/honduras/23248/cons/pkt-k1k2_jun14.pdf 12/6/2017: We requested to have our case expedited due to political war happening in Honduras. Violence and Riots. (humanitarian reasons) 01/11/2018: our request to have our case expedited was denied. 01/18/2018: Received a text, then email from USCIS that our case was approved - 189 days active 01/22/2018: Called NVC to get case number but they hadn't received my case and NVC said to wait about 6 weeks (JV says to call within 2 weeks) 02/01/2018: Called NVC said case was received on January 31st 2018 but not entered in system 2/12/2018: Realized I didn't need the NVC# to fill the DS160 therefore I created a profile for her and filled it out (took about 2 hrs). Paid the $265 fee and we took a leap of faith and scheduled our interview for the 21st of March. (printed and email copies. Needed for the interview) We realized our case needs to be in 'Ready' status in order to attend the interview but we thought it was sufficient gape in between when the NVC received our case and hopefully when the Embassy puts it in the system. I will call tomorrow afternoon to see if NVC has our case number so she can do her Medical asap. 2/15/2018: I was not going to call the NVC but my Fiance suggested therefore I called at 9:02pm CST and what a great surprise they had our case number ready !!! 2/16/2018: Fiance called to schedule medical exam and we have an appointment for the 23rd of February. 2/21/2018: Fiance traveled to Tegucigalpa and got her criminal records from DPI (they gave them to her the same day (she paid 200 lps and waited 2hrs) 2/22/2018: Checked the NVC Tracker and our case shows 'Ready' (since we already paid the 265 fee and did the DS160 we are just waiting for her to do medical and then get her results and wait for interview) 3/8/2018: FYI for those reading these comments packet 3 and packet 4 do not exist for Honduras. For Embassies in other countries you need to send stuff before you can schedule your appointment. For Honduras you will receive an email saying your case is ready and you can find more information about Packet3 and how to gather your evidence at this website: https://hn.usembassy.gov/es/visas-es/immigrant-visas-es/fiancee-visas-k1-k2-es/ (I just put the date I received the email as the dates for packet 3 and packet 4 in my timeline) Please do not wait till you get this email start gathering as much evidence as soon as you can. On the other hand my Fiance will be traveling to Tegucigalpa, Honduras on the 20th (the day before the interview) Although the packet says to not purchase plane tickets I took a leap of faith and have flights ready for 10 days after the interview (visa is handed 5 - 7 days after interview) 03/20/2018: Fiance arrived to tegucigalpa today and went to the medical center to pick up her results. It seems the doctor hadn't sign some results off therefore she went to the hotel and checked in then went back another later but the doctor had still not came back from lunch (@ 3pm) -.- ... but the doctor got there and gave my fiance everything sealed and also a copy for herself. Tomorrow is the interview and we have everything ready. 03/21/2018: She was approved please check out my review and full details here! http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/index.php?cnty=Honduras&cty=&dfilter=5 4/1/2018: Traveled to Honduras with the expectancy of having the visa within 10 business days after the approval interview, (well that was not our case. It seems that Easter week holiday really got us back up. ) 4/10/2018: Traveled back to US without fiance :( BUT ceac tracker updated to non-immigrant visa, status of "Administrative process" and also update date changed as well. 4/11/2018: CEAC tracker updated to "Issued" and said will receive visa within 5 business days (therefore anyone reading this do not buy tickets till your visa is in hand) 4/15/2018: (Sunday) Passport tracker said "Visa is ready to be picked up" 4/16/2018: (Monday) Fiance picked up visa no issues. 4/19/2018: (Thursday) Fiance traveled to US , POE at Fort Lauderdale,FLL. No issues at all just a wait line of an hour. They asked her when she plans to get married and then walked to room where they took the k1 embassy package from her. 4/19/2018: (Thursday Evening) She arrived at my home state and met my family and etc. (yay! so happy) 5/1/2018: We got married!! We got married in Kansas versus Missouri because Missouri asked for a lot of document that we did not have yet, (its Sept 11 2020 and I am trying to go back through my timeline to fill out the things that have happen, for those who are following this profile. looking at our immigration paper work to get dates.) 7/20/2018: Sent Paper work for I-485 (Adjust of Status) and I-765 (Authorization of Employment aka EAD) 8/7/2018: We got both NOA1 for I-485 and the I-765 on 8/7/2018 with a notice date of 8/3/2018. 8/12/2018: We got a letter to do bio-metrics for both I-485 and the I-765 on the 29th of August 2018 at our local office. 8/29/2018: Wife was very nervous about appointment, I filled out a form about her physic (height, weight, origin, hair and eye color) then the female officer took her photo as well as her finger prints. they signed the Biometrics letter and we were done. it took about 1 hour or less including the wait time. 9/13/2018: We got an RFE for our I-485 (AOS) paper work, it said we didn't submit my wife's birth certificate, when i recall we did, but whatever, I sent it with translation to office address provided on letter. 10/25/2018: We got letter for interview on december 4th 2018 for our AOS paperwork. 11/20/2018: We got the Approval letter for I-765 (EAD) and it says they will send EAD card seperately 11/21/2018: We got EAD card for my wife. 12/4/2018: Interview for I-485, took all proof that our relationship was legit. Pictures, letters from church, Bank Statements, etc. officer spoke spanish (thank Goodness because I could not speak for my wife in the interview) he asked us how we met, and whether we have broken the law, etc, etc, asked for our proof and said that the proof is enough for now, but in two years he expects to see more. 12/6/2018: two Days later got approval letter 9/11/2020: We are 3-4 Months away from her Green Card expiring and we need to send paperwork to extend. will meet with Attorney soon to talk about next steps. I know for sure I need 1200 (600 for paper work and another 600 for attorney fees) 11/06/2020: Filed I-751 in November of 6th of 2020 and got NOA1 in January 2021. 03/22/2021: Got notified of approval letter in March of 2021 and got new Green card a few days later at attorneys office. 2022 2022-10-18
