It was excruciating but in the end everything worked out (Hamdolillah). They had to verify our marriage certificate, we did not have the apostile in our final paperwork. FYI: My Husband tried to fly into the US via AirCanada with a conneciton in YUL with a transit visa but they would not allow us said he needed a full visa and could not transit as a greencard holder because he had not entered the US yet. We had to rebook a same day flight through American Airlines through JFK. Immigration was not an issue there, my husband speak very good English. | 2024-06-14

Texas | No | Morocco | 2017-07-11 | 2018-02-09 | 2018-10-19 | 465 | First off, it’s been an emotional journey for me and my SO. US citizen filing for husband from Morocco. Everything has been a smooth process until we got put under administrative processing. It’s been over a year since we first started our case. No red flags, similar age, no kids, no prior marriages, have enough income for spouse, etc. We have all our paperwork and everything. Interview went well to my husband (check my threads for more info). CO never told him he was under 221g, she just gave him the form and said to send his passport with our original marriage translation. No highlighted document to tell him what he needed exactly. And no additional document form given. Husband was told to send in our one document ( original marriage certificate translation) with his passport at Aramex. Sent it the next day after interview. Last I update since interview Oct 24, 2018. DS-5535 requested through email on Oct 24, 2018. Replied back on Oct 27, 2018. No updates since then. | 2019-09-21
