Got a response that said to submit an expedite request through the AIS interview appointment portal. We did not submit the request and kept our original interview date. Upon case complete, the NVC sent case to embassy the same day and it arrived within 2 hours. Applied for expedited NVC processing and received a message from the NVC saying "Dear Sir/Madam: The U.S. Embassy in Bogota, Colombia is willing to expedite this case when we have received and reviewed all the required fees, forms, and documents." The NVC didn't send the case directly to the embassy. Received a request for evidence from the NVC on 6/28/2019. They require a W2 form for a Joint Sponsor, even though I submitted tax transcripts and salary verification from the employer. It can take up to three weeks from 6/28 for the NVC to review the W2. Received case complete on 7/24 after requesting a supervisor review because the case was outside of normal processing time (3 weeks). | 2024-06-20 | |
