There is a big age difference - I am 12 years older than him - and I have 2 children from a former relationship (one still a minor and autistic and the other an adult). There was considerable questioning at the interview - which is understandable and fair - but my husband was fully confident and relaxed. He knows everything about me and was prepared. He answered their concerns and was approved at the interview. He took the interview in English, which I feel is very important and helps, especially if the US citizen petitioner is completely hopeless with Urdu and only speaks English (like me). We also visited one another frequently in various countries - UAE, Singapore, Malaysia - and spent as much time together as possible. I never went to Pakistan as I did not feel it was safe for me to travel there on my own (I have children who depend on me!) but this did not cause any trouble at the interview. As there is a Department of State travel warning against US citizens traveling to Pakistan, this seems a no-brainer but I did read that others have been questioned about this. We are so happy that we will finally be able to start our life together and we pray that everyone else on visajourney will also be blessed.	2017-12-23
