Nothing was said, but a paper requesting more evidence was given to my wife. After calling we found out the visa is on AR due to document verification. Document verification was paid 1 month before interview. Contracted company DELBROS did not forward document verification information until 5 weeks and 4 days are being paid. We had to call DELBROS and ask when information was forwarded to Embassy to find it was never forwarded. The Manila Embassy did not forward documents for verification until the last week of February. Visa was delivered 1 day short of 10 weeks after interview. 2014-04-15

Basically, it states that my case has been trxf'd to VSC in order to speed up processing. I had read on the USCIS website that this would happen: The ppwk would stay @ the NVC in MO, but the case would be sent to the SC where my I-130 had originally been submt'd to, in this case, VT. *2007-3-26 Rec'd NOA's for I-129f and I-130 about 1 week apart at the beginning of the month while I was in the Dom Rep visiting my wife, stating that we were approved. I'm pleasantly surprised that the I-130 came through so fast, but it makes me feel like I wasted $$ with the I-129f... Oh well, maybe the K3 petition is why the I-130 was processed so fast; I needed to grea$e the wheels. Now I'm just waiting to hear from the NVC in Portsmouth, NH that they rec'd the packet and are sending it forward to the US Consulate in Santo Domingo. *2007-5-1 I never heard anything from the NVC re: sending out my packet. Only after calling and calling (they always had too heavy call volume and a recording said to call back) did I get some answers. They told me the case # and that they sent it to the US Consulate in DR on 3/2/07. I only know that it was rec'd bc I searched for the case # on the Consular's Appointment Waiting List web page, and Our case was added on 3/7/07. 2008-12-03

It took a week to get the visa in hand. There was some kind of name mix-up with the embassy and service that delivers them. Just another example of how long every part of this process takes but its finally over. 2009-03-17
