After we sent it back, we received Packet 4 two days later with an interview date of 6 days after. The consulate was booked solid and they did not want my fiance to wait even though he had not yet receivved the medical. The visa would have been issued sooner, but the consulate had to wait for the medical packet to arrive, once it did, we received the visa in 6 days.	2010-11-14

For ppl outside of Canada you are supposed to get all 10 fingers fingerprinted from local police office and get it signed by the police dept, and send it to RCMP and apparently the wait time is 120days. OR.. visit Canada (if you are a citizen and still have family residing there) - this is the path I took and cost me a whole lot in terms of plane tickets... $2100 dollars round trip! :O - and get police clearance from places like international fingerprinting services and just get your name checked (I had to be physically there) Went to Toronto, Canada - Apr. 10,2008 Came back w/ RCMP letter- Apr. 22,2008 Submitted letter, passport stamp, and plane tickets (to/from Toronto) to Seoul Embassy via courier service: Apr.22,2008 Bought plane tickets to Baltimore, MD for May 9,2008 Visa did NOT arrive (they said would only take a week) almost 2 weeks, got anxious and called on May 6, after a 5-day holiday weekend, and embassy said they hadn't reviewed it yet, it was lost under piles of paperwork (OMG!!!) I pleaded that my plane ticket was May 9th and couldn't afford to cancel another plane ticket, so they promised to review it and approve it on May 7th and allowed me to pick it up myself at the consular office. Thank God! Finally got my K1 visa!	2008-07-28
