Our appointment was for 8:45, and we were there at 7:30. There was already a long line but it started moving as soon as we came. The women and men's line both moved at the same speed. Once inside we found seats by the little Cafe shop and waited and waited. We were called to collect our information and take fingerprints. After that more waiting and then finally we were called to the interview. The lady seemed very nervous, but as soon as I saw the green slips on the folders for my wife and daughter I knew we had been approved. She began to ask me the full name of my wife and step-daughter, the name of my mother-in-law, and the age of my step-daughter. She then asked my wife the names of my parents and the location of my residence in the states. She asked my wife how we met. My wife told a compelling story of how I tried to woo her that caused the lady to smile and help loosen the somewhat tense moment. Finally she said Visa approved! We went to pay Domex and are now waiting for the visas to come. | 2014-06-13 | ||||

He told us to go to window 1 or 2 to do finger scanning. After that waited for more or less 3 hours for them to call our number for the interview. CO was a Caucasian lady, my first impression(she was scary, looked really strict) She was torturing my husband even though I was the beneficiary. lol To my hubby: - How did you guys meet? - What's the name of my parents? - How many times did you visit her? - How did I learn English? - How long we have been together? - Where did you guys got married? - How many kids are you planning to have? To me: - Did you have problems with the police? - Did you apply for any non-immigrant visa? - we did not hear her properly because the speakers were not functioning right, but I heard her say approved (Your already approved) And then she hand us out a green paper with our case number written on it and she said you can go pay domex. Have a great day! | 2014-10-25 |
