No action was taken on the petition until 01/15/2014 when the check was cashed. I have no idea why it took them so long to cash the check. I really think they lost our petition. All the phone calls in the world didn't help because they could not tell us, where it went. Everything was overnighted again on 01/14/14 and USCIS verified with our attorney that they received the package. Spoke with USCIS on 06/16/2014 and was told that the Texas Processing Center is backed up 35 days.	2015-05-31

All other aspects were approved. On 11/14/2014 beneficiary delivered certified copy of petitioner's divorce decree and K1 visa was approved. Fiancee entered the USA Feb 17, 2015. Urgent family medical problems with her brother and mother back home in Malaysia required her to go back prior to us being able to marry and apply for Advance Parole. This was crushing to both of us. After contacting the embassy in KL, Malaysia, as expected, we were informed that we must start the I129F process all over again as soon as she has settled the medical situations with her family members.	2015-06-22
