I received the NOA 2 on 2/6/09. Packet 3 with the appointment letter was mailed 2/18/09 from the Lima Embassy. The local mailman had the letter for almost 3 weeks at his house, he said he didn't have it, until we arrived at his house with a bat! We were down to the wire and barely made it! Alot to do! We had only 2 days for medical, criminal checks and everything else before the interview. A word to the wise, after the packet leaves the embassy, it should only take 7 days max to arrive. Stay on top of your local incompetent mail service. It can really cause you alot of problems.	2009-04-12

Received my RFE yesterday 04/06/09, it was regarding Question 2 on Part C, have i ever been convicted of a crime, I just signed the paper and said NO and went to the post office to send it back. I probably had that paper in my hand for about an hour before I returned it, now im just waiting for an answer from USCIS.	2009-06-01

We attended the interview without the medical exams. After the interview the visa was approved but not returned. Claudia had to complete her treatment first. Upon completing the treatment the visa was returned as approved within 2 weeks.	2010-08-06

The embassy called him the next day to tell him that he hadn't signed a paper, but it was their mistake. They told him that he had to sign on Monday the 16th and that he could pick it up later at DHL, that they would call, but they never did. They next day he called and they agreed to let him pick it up at embassy. POE: Miami - 30 mins, no problem.	2010-03-04
