NOA1 Text & Email notification & Check Cashed: 12.30.2010 // NOA1 hard copy received 01.02.2011 (dated 12.23.2010) Ahhh...the shortest wait. The zest you get from this little first touch is enough to last you a good month alone :) NOA2: 05/09/2011 This is by far the hardest wait of them all...the wait to NOA2! At the time that we filed, VSC was averaging between 6 and 7 months before they even touched your case. Miraculously, in a fit of what I can only call despair at this point, VSC picked up the pace and approved our case in 4 months and 2 weeks. I highly suggest SKYPE, ONLINE video games and WORKING OUT to fill your time. Trust me!! Don't just sit at home! You'll go crazy! NVC Received: 05/23/2011 Ok, so the wait for NOA2 was hard, but you knew you were going to be in it for the long haul, so your expectations were low. The wait for NVC to receive your file can truly be the hardest wait. I did not cry one time until this part of the process. It took 15 days for NVC to receive our case when our buds were getting there in 3 or 4 days. But...we got there! hindsight is 20/20 but on the 12th day of not knowing where your case is, you just wanna die!! <3 Medical Booked: 05/31/2011 I love my honey. Soon as we received our case number, he called to schedule his medical. They offered a date 2 weeks later than the date he actually booked. A simple "aw, man. was hoping for something earlier" and he gets booked in within a week! i love him!! Consulate Received Case: 05/27/2011 They must put that petition on a fighter jet cause let me tell ya, this happens QUICKLY!! Put on your dancing shoes, this celebration comes quickly! :) Packet 3 Sent to Consulate: 06/03/2011 We called DOS to find out if our case had been logged. It had! Packet 3 was not yet sent by the consulate, but we figured, hey - they have us logged...let's send out the packet! And so, before we ever receive it in the mail...it's off! Next step, pay the visa fee and wait on that elusive interview! w00t! In fact, just found out...packet 3 was shipped to us the same day we shipped it to them. The irony! MRV FEE Paid - 06/06/2011 Wasn't sure when exactly to do this, so we figured why not do it the day packet 3 delivers to the consulate. So we did. Quick an easy. I suggest having the USC call the extortion line. It's cheaper and was uber easy. Next stop...interview! Packet 4 Rec'd - 06/23/2011 Well...the long awaited Packet 4 with the interview date. Too bad our interview date is 2 months away! Imagine our disappointment! We assume it has to do with our wedding date being October 1st, but we've put a request in to have our interview date brought forward to allow for wedding preparations. We shall see what they say! Either way, it's good to know our paperwork was received and considered "worthy". All good things :) Edit: Rec'd our new interview date: July 18th. :) Interview - 7/18/2011 This was the absolute hardest part for me, even though my handsome fiance said it was painless. Waiting the 5 hours for him to call me and tell me...APPROVED!!! Review coming soon as I get the deets from my man! thank GOD! Visa Delivery: 07/25/2011 I'm not going to lie. I freaked out waiting on that tracking to come through on the website for our Visa. turns out it takes 5 - 7 days to process. I called DOS, they said administrative processing. I freaked out. Then they told me administrative processing is normal for any visa and not to worry. And whadda ya know. They were right. Really exciting!!!!	2014-10-19
