JandMA John & Mary Ann United Kingdom Texas No London, United Kingdom 2014-04-25 2014-05-02 2014-06-19 2014-06-25 2014-06-26 2014-07-14 2014-10-04 2014-10-17 2014-10-24 2015-03-15 175* I deliberately delayed taking the medical because I don't want to enter the US before March 2015. Filing through London DCF is very fast and takes much less than the advertised 10 months if all goes to plan. 2019-04-24

We had our conversion on December 11th 2014 and posted our I-130 the same day. We sent it next-day delivery. NOA1 email received on December 18th stating our NOA1 date as December 15th with an estimated 30-45 days to receive adjudication. We looked back through some saved files of our I-130 and spotted that I had omitted to put the beneficiaries parents DOB's on the form. We couldn't recall if this was an earlier saved document or if we had actually sent in an incomplete form. Contacted the USCIS via email and they informed us that the I-130 was approved today (26th Jan 2015) and we would received confirmation in the post in the next few days. NOA2 arrived on 27th January stating that we should recieve our Case number within 5-8 weeks. NOA3 arrived 29th January!!! Not a typo!!! Two days after receiving NOA2 our NOA3 popped through the door. Since we are ready for interview I completed and submitted the DS-260 and booked medical for 9th February on the same day. Application of readiness also submitted 29/01/15. 9 February 2015 - medical. I arrived about 30 minutes early as the walk was a lot shorter than I thought. I was asked to wait in reception until 5 minutes before my appointment then return to the desk with my paperwork. Handed in paperwork and was given a questionaire to fill in that would be discussed with the doctor. I was clalled to meet a nurse who informed me that I needed to immunisations (tetanus and flu). I decided to have them there and pay the fee. Next met with doctor. Talked through my medical history and he made notes about previous surgery and treatment. He provided me with a pro-forma for my GP to sign and return regarding previous treatment. The physical exam was standard and quick. Chest X-ray followed then collected paperwork from reception and paid the fee. Staff very friendly and efficient. Interview on March 17th. Very straight forward and approved. Full review on embassy page. 2019-03-19
