This took many emails between myself and the Embassy and NVC. We were not told if the case was approved for an expedite, but it was 'In Transit' to the Embassy 2 business days after the Embassy said they would contact the NVC about our case. I would assume they treated our case as an expedite. - Interview was set for 02/02/21 at 10:30am. My fiancé arrived at 10am and left by 12:30pm. | 2022-07-29

The Moroccan beneficiary must apply for this at his/her local government office (العمالة). Do this immediately after receiving your visa in hand. It may take a few days to receive it. They might demand further evidence beyond the K1 visa. Some have had success by showing a reservation at a U.S. courthouse for a civil marriage ceremony. In our case, we did not have this, so we showed them a printout from the U.S. State Department explaining what a K1 visa is, along with an Arabic translation. They eventually accepted this. It took us three days. | 2024-04-19

CBP officer asked what visa I was seeking entry with then asked for my sealed envelope and passport. After opening and briefly reviewing my documents he asked what state will I be getting married in and then after doing some typing he called over another officer and handed him my documents. I was told to follow this officer to have my entry processing finalized. We went to the secondary screening area and I was asked to sit and wait for my name to be called. After a short wait my name was called and the officer asked me basic questions about my final destination and then he told me I had 90 days to get married and file an adjustment of status to register permanent residence. He told me congratulations and handed me back my passport. Seamless P.O.E processing. | 2021-11-11
