His interview was scheduled for 9:30am. We arrived at 8:30am. Shaun proceeded in the building. Went to several stations and then ending up with a friendly consulate officer. He asked just a few questions: When did we meet? When did we get engaged? What does your finance do for a living? What do you intend to do when you arrive in the US for work? Do you talk on the phone - if so do you have phone record (and we had them)? Then he looked at the phone records and scanned through other documents and took about 5 minutes and told Shaun to head to the DHL counter! YAY! I was there for a week after and the visa wasnt ready. It took 7 business days after the interview! Wonderful! We have booked his airline ticket allowing him time to wrap up his stuff in Jamaica - work and family! Wedding here we come! My fiance was advised that once I send them(the embassy) the original they will mail him his passport and visa. I am doing so today. Additionally, he was given instructions on how to sign up for DHL service. Otherwise, the visit was better than he anticipated according to him. He arrived at 9am or a little after for his 9:30am appointment. At 10:17am he called me with the outcome. I'm guessing because it's Christmas eve the embassy wasn't as busy. As for the questions, he wasn't asked many, just the basic, "how did you meet your fiance?", "have you ever traveled to the US?" etc. Called the DOS today 1/13/2014 and was told my case is under "administrative processing". - CEAC Website Visa status changed to "issued" on 2/26/14 -Waybill number received 2/28/14 -Visa picked up on 3/4/14	2014-05-01
