California | No | Manila, Philippines | 2013-07-29 | 2013-08-02 | 2013-08-23 (email); 2013-08-28 (snail mail) | 2013-09-03 (sent); 2013-09-05 (received by CSC) | 2013-09-23 | 2013-10-29 | 2013-10-30 | 2013-11-15 | 2013-11-19 | 2013-11-29 | 2013-12-09 | 113* | 4 | 52 | 57 | My interview went well! First step was the biometrics which took only few minutes. But like everyone experienced, you have to be ready for a looooong wait until your number gets called. Second step, I was interviewed by a Filipina Consul. Her questions were: > tell me how your relationship started > how long have we been together > how many times did he visit? When? How many days? > how many times has he been married? > have you met his kids? > how many children do you have? She also asked for our pictures together. And before I left the window, she asked me if I'm ok with my English once the American Co interview me, if I need a translator. For the last interview, it took me forever before my number got called. There were only less than 10 people waiting to be called including me. So I was called at Window 62. It was a male CO, I can say he's a pretty serious looking guy, doesn't smile and really means "business!" Lol! So it started with an oath. Then.... > what is the name of your petitioner? > how did you meet your fiancé? > what' s the name of your Uncle who introduced you to him? > why did he introduced you? > were you been married before? How many times? > how many times has he been married? How many kids? Where are the kids living? > why is he not petitioning your son? > where is the father of your son now? While interviewing he's typing something in his computer, read through our documents and text messages. Then he said, I don't have any further questions to you. You may go back to your seat and wait for your number to be called again. I didn't dare ask him if I'm approved or what. So I was called again at window 72 or 73, lady told me I was approved, just wait for my visa and I can already go home. What a relief! | 2016-11-13 | ||||
