The consulate is requiring 2 interview appointments now. That day they provide a date for the second interview appointment. That will be the real interview questions based on your relationship and case in general. FYI if the first scheduled appointment is in the afternoon, they will provide your next appointment in the morning. And if your first was in the morning, the next appointment will be in the afternoon. 2021-07-16

I thought we wouldn’t hear anything until the embassy reopened but since our case is considered a emergency I received a call on 3/26 and our interview was scheduled! They did offer a appointment as soon as April 1st but we needed time to request time off work. 2020-06-21
Caarolinalr C & E Mexico Texas No Juarez, Mexico 2019-03-28 2019-04-03 2019-09-30 2019-11-07 2021-06-29 2021-07-03 2021-07-10 2018-10-26 824* I tell you a little about my experience in Ciudad Juarez: -We arrived on Thursday, June 24 at night. Accommodation: MICROTEL. We booked it because it is cheap and because we did not want a guest house, but the truth: if you are very demanding with cleaning and service we do not recommend it much, although the air conditioning works well. -Medical appointment on Friday June 25 at SMF (servicios medicos de la frontera), I arrived at 7 am, it lasted about 4 hours there were many people. They do urinalysis, chest x-ray, blood sample, vision test, physical examination of tattoos and finally vaccinations. (They gave me TDaP, MMR and varicella with side effects: fever for two days, extremely red and swollen arm) if you received the covid vaccine 15 days before your medical appointment, they do not give you any vaccination. - That same day I went to get a police certificate, there were many people and I was inside for about 2 hours. - Also that day, Friday, June 25, I did the biometrics at 3:20 in the afternoon. You have to arrive at the right time for your appointment because it is in shifts, if you arrive earlier you have to wait outside and the heat was very strong. (40c degrees) - They are dividing the consular appointment into two parts due to COVID. Tuesday June 29th was my first date 1:30 pm. As on Saturday we scanned EVERYTHING and upload it to CEAC (taxes, new I-864, my police certificate etc) that day the consul asked me only for my birth certificate and original marriage certificate, he told me thank you for uploading everything to the system and That would be all, they were only 5 minutes inside and he gave me a blue paper that is an entrance pass to the consulate, so that I could return Wednesday the 30th at 8 am. NOTE: do not bring any electronic device!! not even a fitbit. If you are asthmatic like i am, don't bring your inalator, They wont let you in and you can't trow anything to the garbage near by, it is forbidden, the security it's like in an airport. Just bring your paperwork with you and some cash, there's a small snack car inside. -Wednesday June 30, 2021: I arrived at 7:30 am and it was a long wait of about an hour, once inside I waited another while and I think it was around 10am when I finally went to the window for an interview. Inside there are windows like a bank and you can hear everything. The consul was always very kind, she asked me if I wanted the interview in English or Spanish, she made me raise my hand for the oath, and the questions were: who asks for you? i said my husband Is he a resident or a citizen? a citizen by naturalization or birth? In what state was he born? What state does he live in now? Where is he right now? (I said outside) what does he work on? date of marriage? First marriage of both? Children in common? How did you meet? Have you visited USA legally or illegally? Have you had problems with the police in this country or another? Do you have any tattoos? Can you show me your police certificate? and that was it, she told me congratulations your visa has been approved. 🤗 She did not ask me for any other thing and returned my original papers that I gave in the first interview the day before. RECOMMENDATIONS: Just answer what they ask you !!! I saw a person trying to start a conversation with the consul, even showing her a photo album: the consul asked him for more documents. BE KIND, We all get nervous, but it's better to be nervous and be nice than to try show you super confident and be rude! Greetings and good luck with your process!! 2023-06-28
