Steve17 Roxy & Steve Philippines Texas California Manila, Philippines 2019-06-24 2019-07-01 2019-10-04 2020-02-04 225 7 95 123 Regarding the interview, Roxy was told that she passed the interview, but that she needed to mail her passport back to the Embassy along with her mother and father's marriage certificate, and that once received by the Embassy, she should get her Visa within a week. That was February 4th, 2020. She sent her passport and the required marriage certificate on February 10th. In early March, when Roxy still didn't receive her passport and visa, I called the Embassy. I was told that I would receive a response in a day or two. A few days later the Embassy responded by e-mail, saying that they are still completing administrative processing in order to verify her qualifications for the visa. She was told at the interview that she was approved already, but that she needed to send in her passport and the required marriage certificate. I don't know how difficult that could be, even with a large volume of mail that they probably receive every day. As of today, March 30th, we still have not received a response. And now, with the Wuhan virus affecting normal operations at the Embassy, I'm not sure how much longer the process will take. 2020-03-30
