St Lukes required an 8 week TB culture even though it was nearly impossible that she had TB since she lived at a workplace where she and everyone else was required to be tested every year. Also I researched online and found government studies that showed that TB is almost always detected within 14 days and only rarely in 21 days and never beyond that! Then we waited in line all day for the interview and had to come back the next day because of delays. Then, 2Go shipped her Visa to a random remote province and we had to go retrieve it even though they had the correct address. The CFO process brought more challenges since the lady was demanding things such as a certificate of employment and which don't exist in the U.S. (surely my Fiancee was not the first coming to the U.S.) and other things that were impossible for us to obtain. However, finally she relented and gave the stamp. Processing through DFW Texas airport went very smoothly and then the agent providing the marriage license at our small county office here was actually helpful and pleasant to work with! We got married the Saturday after Christmas and so made it before the end of the year, just 6 months later than planned but at least we are together now. :) 2021-01-15
