In my situation, I am self employed and I quit a full time job in April 2016. So, I was concerned with my recent financial changes affecting the K-1. The interviewer only requested the Affidavit of Support and supporting documents, which were the bank details for all accounts, self employment letter and the most recent tax return and the W-2's from all three tax years. These questions were asked: 1) why are you going to the US? to marry my fiancee 2) what does your fiancee do for a living? She is an accountant 3) What does an accountant do?payroll, bookkeeping, and tax return services. 4) asked have you ever been married before? no .... that was basically it and the original pictures and plastic sheet protectors were returned. White paper provided with location to pick up passport in 10 biz days. Thank God for his mercy and grace throughout this entire ordeal. | 2017-01-25 |
