Filled I-485 on October 3, 2002. Our daughter was born in 2004. On 2005 got the final green card but name was wrong so it was replace by February,22 2006. Filled for Citizenship on 2008 Our application was pending for two years with no communication from USCIS. On February 2010 we decided to travel to Argentina, we contact USCIS from there. On March 22th 2010 USCIS decided to close our application because they do not schedule overseas addresses. My wife has a non expired green card but since we have been more than a year abroad she cannot return to US. We filled at the consulate Returning Residence Form DS 117, was denied!. Then we filled family reunion at Peru office and was denied also!. Now we are filling for a k3 and 129 and starting all over. In order to do that my wife had to abandon her green card at the embassy. We had been married for 15 years, we have a beautiful us citizen daughter of 13 years old, we have been living for the last 7 years in Argentina and we are waiting to be able to go back to Alaska as a family. 2017-10-20
