Ying & Mike China California No Guangzhou, China 2008-11-11 2008-10-14 2008-10-19 2009-03-02 2009-03-26 2009-04-15 2009-05-11 209 N/A N/A N/A Wife is interviewed. In her words, interview lasted maybe 5 minutes, then she received "blue sheet" advising she is ineligible for obtaining her visa because of (221(g) box checked stating "lacking Documents/Further Processing). Explaination for denial is a request from petitioner how he and applicant communicates given her her lack of English. In response to the Consulate request for further information, I draft a 3 page letter explaining to the consulate how we communicate every day via web chat with camera and audio. I even take photos of our webchat screen showing the both of us on camera and text message communication between us. 6/30/09: Wife receives "white sheet" rejection notice from Guangzhou Consulate. The consulte never acknowleged receiving or considered my explanation of how my wife and I communicate. It has a check box next to the simple statement "The consulate has determined, based on your testimony, documents or other evidence, that you do not have a bona fide relationship with your petitionor". This is in spite of the fact that my spouse and I have been married 9 months at the time of recieving this notice. Of course we submitted our Chinese government issued marriage certificates. 8/24/09: I return to Guilin, China to visit my wife (3rd visit). At the suggestion of my attorney, we visit the Consulate in Guangzhou. I am able to speak briefly to an agent at the consulate office. While the male agent said the officers are not allowed to give names, he was very friendly and advised me to proceed with the Immigrant visa now that my wife was denied her request for the K3 visa 2009-09-30

From filing to interview of my wife. I guessed visiting Asia 4 times in about 14months for a total of 70days helped. Plus my wife 100 wedding pictures which the embassey officer looked at them all helped also. 2011-04-11
