This is info my husband gave to me. These were the questions: 1. Who petitioned for you? 2. How many times has she been to Nigeria? 3. Did she come to Nigeria to marry? 4. Have you ever been married? Do you have children? H 5. Has she ever been married? Does she have children? How old? 6. How does her daughter feel about the marriage since you are close in age? 7. Do you have family in US? 8. Do you have any other ID than passport? My hubby gave his National ID Card (the new & official one which looks like a credit card). The CO said he had never seen one like it. He showed it to all his colleagues and they seemed to be impressed because it was very official. Mind you, we went to get mine back in July 2019 and each received a paper copy ( which we laminated). Last month, my hubby’s official card came to him in the mail...nothing but God. He was handed the paper with the waiver box checked off. The CO collected his passport and he was told to wait up to three weeks to hear back....see below :) All Praises to God!!! My husband attended his interview on 3/4/20 and was given a form that he was being considered for a waiver due to the travel ban. The CO told him to wait up to three weeks for a response. We received notice today 3/6 that the Visa was ISSUED and printed! So happy and relieved! Can’t wait to see my hubby and kiss his face! 2022-03-03

Hubby stood in immigrant visa line, I (US citizen) stood on the other side of the street near the US consulate for citizens. I was not allowed to stand with hubby on his side and I was not allowed to enter the building on his side or the citizens side unless I had official business of my own. Total wait time standing outside in the sun: 6 hours. (no chairs or water for citizens waiting for spouses to complete their process) Hubby spent 2.5 hours in the first building completing pre screening and waiting. Then, he went across the street to the other building where I was standing (US citizen side) for an interview and was in that building for 3.5 hours. Hubby was informed due to the travel ban, he had to be provided a denial letter however would be considered for a waiver. His case was otherwise complete, he was not missing anything and was not provided a denial based on any other reason. On 3/2 we were notified (by ceac site) that his visa had been issued! Glory be to God. 2020-03-02
