Go to the crowded park (well before you would naturally wake up), wait for name/number, get in line, wait, fill out form while in line, wait, enter USINT, wait some more, go to an "interview" window for them to take VERY FEW PAPERS/EVIDENCE (I suggest you FORCE FEED it at this window...If they don't want it...make them take it anyway), wait breifly to be allowed to pay fees, pay fees, wait some more, get finger prints, wait some more...then THE INTERVIEW. We walked up together for the interview, and they said that was great, but told me to go take a seat for a while. They asked my (now) wife pretty basic questions, and asked who is who in photos...then they called me up to the window and asked basic questions, and who/where is this photo taken. It wasn't too hard to pass the interview, but we were "approved pending other information". I had the information right there at the interview window, but the "lady" wouldn't look at it..."next". We tried to give this same info at the first "pre-screening" window, but "they" didn't want/need it...it's ridiculous that I had to mail the same papers from the US (via a friend courier) that neither the 1st or 2nd window would even take when I was there in person. I even went back the next day to give these papers, but they wanted them mailed apparently. I did what they wanted, got jacked around more, then contacted the USINT chief...he helped in a hurry. It was lucky I met, and spoke with him...He actually makes things happen like/when they should. Whatever anyone does...Don't give up. It can/will happen if you keep trying. It's just like trying to reschedule a flight or herding cats...but you will get there. Then comes the Cuban Carta Blanca...ja ja...same story...you will get there, but we suggest you start real early with every step along the way. 2015-01-13

I called USCIS on December 18th, spoke to a Tier 2 officer and inquired about our case. He informed me our I-129F petition had been approved on November 21st, but by error no notification was sent out. In spite of that, the NVC received it as normal and it was sent to the Havana consulate December 17th. By January 29th I still had not received a hard copy of the NOA2, and the USCIS website still had our case status as the Alien Registration Number change. I called USCIS and put in a service request due to "Non-Delivery of Approval Notice." On January 31st I received an email update that my address had been changed, and a few hours later received another email saying that they had sent a notice that they had approved our I129F petition. I received the NOA2 hard copy on Thursday, February 6th. 2017-03-04
