On-line form took about 3 days for answer. >>Consulate interview in Rio de Janeiro, we arrived 1/2 early and immediate bypassed 2 long lines of 100 or so people, we asked doorman if US fiance could enter and they said it usually not done but they checked by radio and let US fiance inside. We gave cell phone to person in vest for storage that we later retrieved at place a block away ($R10). We went to room with about 20 other people, arranged our documents according to sheet and had convince person that we need certain documents, and others we not needed (relationship photos and Financial support documents, it seems they only interested in Tax return). We waited 1/2 hour to be called for interview. Interview takes place at glass window while standing, lasted 3 minutes. Questions they asked: >>How we've known each other, ask to confirm when I proposed marriage >>Do we have date for wedding >>When was last time saw fiance (me) >>Question asking to confirm that we had previous marriages | 2024-01-28 | |||||||
