This is the reason why I was able to receive both packages 3 and 4 on the same day. This was also because of my preparation for package 3. Questions K1 interview Oct 5th 2021 * How did you meet each other? * What does he do for a living? * What are my plans to do in the States? * Did we use a marriage broker (we did not btw lol)? * Was I ever convicted? * Did I ever overstay a visa? * Where does your fiancé live? * What is the address the greencard will be send to? * If I ever been to the States on a J1? * What are your plans for the wedding? They also asked me for a copy of fiancé's passport, which wasn’t stated in the checklist. I did bring it as a back up. My medical was on the 30th of Sep, so my visa was 99% approved. I called the medical place and the told me everything was ok, so that means I can expect my visa within the next three weeks. The plan is to travel to the USA on the 5th of Nov 2021. | 2024-06-25

At window 1 I gave all the documents: passport style photos; Birth certificate; Police report; I-134 + Tax returns; Copy passport petitioner. They took my electronic fingerprints, asked me if I've been abroad the last 10 days and if I live in the Netherlands. They already received my medical and everything was fine. After a 35 min wait they called me to window 4. The lady taking my interview was very nice. She looked at my papers and my vaccinations, all was good. She asked me the following questions, while typing my answers into her computer: How did you meet? When did you started dating? When was the last time you've seen each other? When, where and how long was your last visit? Did you see each other a second time? How long was that visit and where? What does your fiance do for a living? What will you be doing when you get there, study or work? Do you have any wedding plans? She told me everything looked good, they will keep my passport and it will be sent to me with the visa within 2-3 weeks. It was a very pleasant experience for sure😊 | 2023-04-05

Very cool. 2/23/22 My grandmother passed away waiting for us. Not sarcastic. Actually rather..sad. We’re heartbroken she can’t attend the wedding and we’re figuring out a way to memorialize her. 3/10/22 - Noa2. Feels like she had a part in it. 17 days too late to see her but…at least L and I get to be together soon! 5/16 We received 3 + 4 on the same day. 5/17 Visa accepted!…as soon as they get the results of L’s medical exam. The appointment is June 14th and we were told 30-60 days for the whole back and forth courier stuff. 6/14 Did the medical exam! Now we wait for them to send the results. 6/20 Wow, they finally got around to sending those medical results. 7/10 Still waiting. Heard through the grape vine 2/3 of the IV unit is on vacation. 7/27 VISA RECEIVED. | 2022-07-27
