Eugielene & James Philippines California No Manila, Philippines 2010-09-10 2010-09-22 2011-02-22 (Touched, RFE) 2011-03-08 (RFE received and being reviewed at USCIS) 2011-03-17 2011-03-29 2011-04-04 2011-04-08 2011-04-16 2011-04-26 2011-04-27 2011-05-13 245 12 176 57 May 13, 2011. During my interview I was frontloaded with documents and proof. The CO who interviewed me was nice and very gentleman. I was like the one who had the longest time being interviewed by the CO. Most only took like 3-5 minutes. The CO was asking about the work of my fiance and I tild him that he doesnt work anymore because he was being disbaled by the accident he had been through. And yet we had his Daddy as our co-sponsor. He let me wait there (standing in front of the window) and he talked to another consular. After like 30 minutes he came back and asked me about his past wives. Asked me if Im willing work in the US. And I said "I DO if given a chance to work". Then he smiled and asked me "Do you promise to marry your fiance in the US within 90 days of your arrival?" And I said "YES". And he told me "Your visa is Okay" Wait till your name will be called for your visa assistance. Since it was already almost 12 noon. We (along with the people there who are waiting their names to be called) are being told to come back in the afternoon. I took my lunch in the hotel where I stayed and back in the US embassy. There are few people there earlier than me. I sit and wait in the waiting area. After like 4 minutes the lady in the releasing window start calling names, including myself. I fall in line. When it was my turn, the lady told me to go back to sit and wait because she needed to let the paper sign by the consular. 5 minutes passed then I was called back, the lady told me that my visa will be put on hold because they need to do further review on the case. She handed me a white paper (221g), telling me to wait until I can hear from them. She kept my passport and all other of my original documents. She told me there is no additional documents needed. First 3 months after my interview, we keep calling and emailing the embassy and inquire about our case. The same response "Pending Review by a Consular Officer". So we let them do what they need to do, hoping that their review will be done soon. Until, October, 2011, I called the embassy and got to talk to an agent. She asked about my Medical examination date which is about to expire. She then told me that I should be expecting a call or an email by next week. In the following week, I received an email from the embassy telling me that our case was sent back to USCIS last September 20, 2011. Which made me somehow felt bad because they dont even told us until I called. A week after I received the email, I received back my passport along with the letter of refusal and the reason of the CO. The reason was "The beneficiary failed to stablish a bonafide relationship to the consular officer". November 10, 2011. USCIS received our returned petition and now is in review. We are expecting to receive a letter, either a NOIR/NOID or an email telling us that they gonna send back the petition to the consulate for reconsideration. My Fiance and his kids are in the philippines right now. We are planning to get married here and would stay here for awhile. We are hoping and praying that when time comes that we will apply for another visa process, would be more smooth and less delays. In GOD's good grace.!! GOD bless everyone!! 2012-09-04
