Then continued to check Visa Application status online until it said "Ready". (Did not receive any notification for this.) Then paid visa fee online & scheduled interview appointment. Fiance will not receive an information packet as per embassy website instructions. Interview Day was poorly handled by the Embassy. First we were turned away because they said our appointment was not that day. Only after I showed a letter I requested from the embassy confirming they changed out appointment, did they let us in. Then they "misplaced"/forgot about my fiance's documents at intake and had to be reminded by a rest-vested lady that we were still waiting. Then finally, they took our evidence after scrambling to find our documents. Then they interviewed my fiance and declined to interview me! Then they put us in AP, and did not give a reason. I have since appealed to the help of my Congressman who looked into our case and said it was being processed normally in AP so still waiting for the result. *After waiting 4 months still no notifications. Contacted Congressman's office , who contacted Embassy who said visa was ready for final processing. They said we should have received a letter which informed that my fiance needed to drop off his passport at embassy for final processing. THEY NEVER DID. WE BASICALLY ONLY KNEW IT WAS READY BECAUSE I CONTACTED MY CONGRESSMAN! So poorly handled and extremely disorganized. BE VIGILANT AND DON'T EXPECT THAT THEY ARE ON TOP OF YOUR CASE.	2017-03-21
