FINALLY!!!! Next we applied for US passport for upcoming intl trip. What a hassle! Had to show up 5am at "walk-in" post office (opens @ 10am). It's over 3 months waiting for an appointment otherwise. Passport arrived in less than a month (express service - $200). |

Went in for my interview at the Los Angeles downtown location. It was fairly quick. The questions were on the computer and were the following:
1. Who was the President during WW2?
2. When was the constitution written?
3. Who is the speaker of the house?
4. Who is the current VP?
5. What is an amendment?
6. How long does a Senator stay in office?
After the test I did a reading and writing test - super easy.
Then she scheduled me for an Oath ceremony for the same day and I walked out of there a U.S. Citizen in under 2 hours! |
