Sent application on 11/20 -- Application received on 11/21 -- NOA (email + text) received on 11/28 -- Biometrics scheduled on 12/13 but processed by walk-in on 11/28 -- NOA for Interview (email + text received on 10/24 -- Testing and Interview scheduled on 11/28. -- Application approved and Ceremony on 01/16/2019 -- I am a US Citizen! :)
(Note #1: Received my NOA over email and text on 11/28, and decided to try to walk-in at the San Francisco field office to try and have my biometrics processed. Arrived at 2.45 pm (Tuesday) and there was no one else. They processed me in 10 minutes tops. I essentially did my biometrics the SAME day I received my NOA -- less than a week after I filed.)
(Note #2: Case filed manually (paper application) but NOA said it was accepted and routed to the USCIS Harrisonburg Storage Center for processing -- which is typically assigned for cases that are filed online.) |
