Going through the immigration inspection took awhile, so best to plan your layovers (if any) ahead of time. If you're coming in as a K1, don't forget to surrender your yellow packet as the Immigration Officers won't ask it from you. Just have the initiative to hand it to them as soon as they call you. The baggage carousel area was pretty tight so it was hard to navigate around. When I got in there, the bags were already laid out on the floor so it was difficult to find my own luggage among the rest of it. I probably spent about 30 minutes going around trying to figure out if somebody had already took my bag out of the carousel and on the floor OR if it's still being transferred. The next terminal was a bit of a walk so I needed to get a cart. To my surprise, the cart isn't free ($8 each). I only brought $100 bills with me and the machine only accepted $20 so I was left to carry 4 bags on my way to the next terminal, which almost made me miss my connecting flight. Long story short, do not choose SFO as your POE. Better do O'hare if you're going Midwest.
