For the POE in JFK, I waited on the line with her. We were pulled off to go to the front as our son transformed into the spawn of satan while we were on the immigration line. It really helped as they wanted to get us the hell out of there as soon as possible.
She went into the interview room without me. I made sure she took the devil-child with her and they did not ask anything besides where we would live. They just reminded her to make sure to complete the marriage within 90 days.
I collected the luggage while she handled that, and off we went. No issues at all, but the line would not have been fun if we did not get to skip it due to our 3 year old acting up.
