My fiance entered the USA in Chicago (he is from Morocco). His finger prints were taken, they asked him why he was coming to the USA, where he would be staying, and what his plans are, and wished him good luck. They also asked him if he brought any food from Morocco and he told them he brought oils, tea, peanut butter, and Moroccan sweets. They did not check his bag or care about the food.
