Flight arrived at 4:45, walked out of the airport and into freedom at 5:30, exactly 45 minutes.
Waiting in line with the rest of passengers from flight: 30 minutes
At window with first DHS officer: 5 minutes. very nice lady, she took picture, fingerprints and verified name and date of birth. Then she took me to the backroom, I sat for 10 minutes, another DHS officer came out with my passport, called my name, gave it to me with the "admitted" stamp IR-5 on my I-551
No bag check, just a friendly "welcome to the United States".
