I came through the Atlanta PoE with a K-1 visa.
I came in and the lines were sooooooo long!
But when I showed a worker my visa they actually let me through a big chunk of the line, so I probably waited about 30 minutes or so.
Then when I finally came to the desk, I give them the sealed envelope and tell them that I am here on a K-1 visa.
The lady by the desk asked me a couple questions, mostly out of curiosity to why I am here on a K-1 visa at such a young age (I was 20 lol). A little bit sceptical, but still asked me to come with her. She asked me to sit down in a waiting-room style part of the PoE, aside from the reception desks.
A man took my envelope and after about 10 minutes of waiting he called for me to come up to his desk.
He basically asked me basic questions about my fiance, his name, address.
He then congratulated me on my future marriage, wished me luck and stamped my K-1, told me about the requirement of getting married within 90 days, gave it to me and I was good to go!
I was so relieved that it was a very smooth process, the staff is professional and know what theyre doing. No hassle!
