The immigration officers were very friendly. I had nice friendly conversation with them.

My only two complains are follows:
I entered via JFK with my GC for the first time. They have the card and finger print scanner machines before you go to immigration officer.
Some machines throw some computer generation exception or error message upon scanning the card.
There personnel who are supposed to help people with that machine.
They were wearing black sweater with "T4" printed on arms. The dress is not easily noticeable. There are not enough personnel available. I think it is because of sudden and huge flow of passengers from aircraft at once. But I got help from one personnel.
She started blaming me that I do not know how to put my card on the scanner. She kept blaming me and sounded very annoyed.
She was showing me correct way of scanning the card. But the machine threw the same error. And she brought me to another machine.
Same error occurred. Finally, the card got recognized in third machine. And then I suppose to scan my finger-prints. She kept harassing me saying I do not know how to scan my finger. I just wanted to do it by my self from there since the error is gone. But she kept telling me do this and do that. May be she wanted it done. But she was just blaming on each step. Once the machine printed the receipt, I was done there. And I asked her what was the issue with those first machine. She just told me it is normal and people supposed to try next machine if one does not work. That did not make any sense. I was trying to tell her it was not my fault and they need to report the errors in machine and hire more employee to cope up with the flow of passenger. But she was just mentioning I do not know how to use the machine. I was disappointed by her not accepting the fact that most people do not go through immigration very often. Moreover they are tired and sleepy after more than 12 hours of flight with huge jet lag. She was very rude. Her behavior is the main reason I am writing this review here so that our tax will go the right person.

In my opinion, the machines should be fixed so that they would not throw any intermittent error message without any reason. And they should hire well mannered and friendly staffs to help the passenger.
